GANS recommends that nurse-recruiters consider the following ways to promote opportunities for nursing students in Georgia. GANS has a strong history of excellence and professionalism that carries over from one year to the next. We take special pride in our relationship with the nurse-recruitment community. Our goal is to help students and nurse-recruiters find each other.

GANS Job Resource Center
Our Job Resource Center  (powered by AfterCollege) is an excellent resource that students are using to research opportunities available to them throughout Georgia and the U.S. All of the listings here are posted for students. A resume submission tool is included allowing student nurses to contact you about your available positions directly. Post your opportunities to Georgia Nursing students. GANS members receive weekly emails regarding new job postings.

GANS Convention
As always, we strongly encourage participation in our Annual Convention in October. The convention attracts approximately 400-500 students across Georgia! Please visit our Convention page to find more information http://www.ganursingstudents.org/conventions.html . This is our biggest event of the year and we hope that you can offer your support by attending. Please note that Ad space is also available in our EKG: Convention Program!

GANS COSL

Each year, GANS coordinates a special retreat for student leaders in Georgia. COSL (Council of State Leaders) is a unique opportunity for students to develop their local chapters through team building activities, breakout sessions, and influential guest speakers. GANS welcomes your contributions and sponsorship of this event. For more information on COSL and sponsorship, please visit the COSL page or contact one of our District Directors.

EKG Newsletter
